Smarty WaaS builds and maintains websites for South African SMEs on a monthly subscription basis. Instead of paying R10,000+ upfront for a website, small businesses pay a low monthly fee that includes everything needed to keep their site running: hosting, domain registration, SSL certificate, regular backups, and minor updates. All websites are mobile-responsive by default, which is essential for the South African market where 95%+ of users access the web via mobile phones.

### One-time alternative
Clients who prefer a one-off payment instead of monthly subscription can choose Option A pricing: page 1 (home) at R1,050 + pages 2–5 at R850 each + pages 6–10 at R700 each + pages 11–20 at R550 each. No ongoing maintenance included unless WhatsApp add-on is added.

## FAQ

**Q: Do I own my website?**
A: You own your domain and all content. The website itself is licensed to you as long as your subscription is active. If you cancel, we help you export content but hosting/updates stop.

**Q: What's the minimum contract length?**
A: 12 months on the monthly plan (Option B). After that, month-to-month with 30 days notice.

**Q: Can I upgrade later?**
A: Yes. Move from Micro to Starter to Basic etc. at any time. Extra pages billed pro-rata for the first month.

**Q: Do you handle SEO?**
A: Basic on-page SEO (title, meta description, sitemap, structured data) is included. Advanced SEO campaigns are a separate service.

**Q: What if I need something outside your plans?**
A: Contact us. Custom quotes available for e-commerce, booking systems, large redesigns, etc.
